Origin Story: Miles Morales is a Marvel Comics character who first appeared in 2011 as the second Spider-Man of the Ultimate Marvel Universe. He was created by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Sara Pichelli.
Powers: Miles has many of the same powers as Peter Parker, including superhuman strength, agility, and wall-crawling abilities. He also has the ability to turn invisible and generate electric shocks from his body.
Supporting Cast: Miles is supported by a strong cast of characters including his parents Jefferson Davis and Rio Morales, his uncle Aaron Davis (the Prowler), his best friend Ganke Lee, and other allies such as Jessica Drew (Spider-Woman) and Cloak & Dagger.
Immortal Status: In 2018, it was revealed that Miles had become immortal due to an accident involving a device called The Forever Machine which granted him eternal life but also made him unable to age or die from natural causes or disease.
Future Appearances: Since becoming immortal, Miles has gone on to appear in various comics series such as Spider-Geddon, Spider-Man/Deadpool Annual #1, Venomverse War Stories #1–2 and more recently in 2020’s Amazing Mary Jane #7–8 where he teams up with Mary Jane Watson against Mysterio’s forces in Las Vegas
