Hello, iam Michael Hunter, Peace out!

Whoa, the sun is really heating up! It’s so hot that it’s almost like lava. I mean, it’s not quite as hot as actual molten rock, but still - yikes! Talk about a scorcher. You’d better stay out of the sun if you don’t want to get burned.

Is Sun Hotter Than Lava? [Solved]

Wow! Lava may be hot, but it’s nothing compared to the sun. It’s scorching at 10,000° F - five times hotter than the hottest lava around.

  • Sun: The sun is a star at the center of our solar system that provides light and heat to the planets. It is composed mostly of hydrogen and helium gas, and has a surface temperature of about 5,500 degrees Celsius.

  • Hotter Lava: Lava is molten rock that erupts from volcanoes or fissures in the Earth’s crust. It can reach temperatures as high as 1,250 degrees Celsius, making it much hotter than the sun’s surface temperature.

The sun is way hotter than lava - it’s like comparing apples to oranges! I mean, the sun’s temperature is around 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit, while lava can range from 1,300 to 2,200 degrees. That’s a huge difference! Yikes!
