Oh man, it’s just so heartbreaking to hear about Kenny being abused. I mean, no one deserves that kind of treatment. It’s a real shame that someone would do something like that to him. You know, it really makes me sick to my stomach. Anyway, let’s take a look at what we can do to help Kenny and make sure this never happens again.
Was Kenny Abused? [Solved]
Jenny’s season two story arc was a real tear-jerker. She revealed that she had been sexually abused as a kid, and it was shown through flashbacks and dream sequences. It really hit home for viewers.
Physical Abuse: Physical abuse is any intentional act causing injury or trauma to another person or animal by way of bodily contact. Examples include hitting, punching, kicking, slapping, choking, and burning.
Emotional Abuse: Emotional abuse is any behavior that threatens, intimidates, undermines self-worth or diminishes a person’s sense of identity. Examples include name-calling, belittling comments and insults, humiliation in public or private settings and controlling behaviors such as isolating the victim from friends and family.
Sexual Abuse: Sexual abuse is any form of sexual contact without consent from both parties involved. This includes rape and other forms of unwanted sexual contact such as fondling or touching in an inappropriate manner without consent from the victim.
Financial Abuse: Financial abuse involves controlling a person’s access to money or resources through manipulation or coercion for personal gain at the expense of the victim’s well-being and autonomy. Examples include withholding money for basic needs such as food and shelter; taking control over bank accounts; preventing access to employment opportunities; using threats to force compliance with financial demands; stealing money; forcing victims into debt; manipulating credit scores; and using financial information for identity theft purposes
Kenny’s been through a lot. He was abused, and it’s heartbreaking. It’s not right, and it shouldn’t have happened. Poor Kenny – no one deserves that kind of treatment. It’s just awful.
