Ugh, animal kills pleasure - talk about a buzzkill! It’s so frustrating when you’re looking forward to something and then it gets taken away. But that’s the reality of life sometimes; you just have to roll with the punches. Still, it’s hard not to feel disappointed when your plans get derailed by an animal kill. Here’s hoping that doesn’t happen too often!

Wow! That’s a lot of animals! Orcas, zooplankton, humans, damselfly naiads, predaceous mites, martens, weasels, honey badgers, jaguars, leopards, lions and wolves have all been seen engaging in surplus killing. And spiders? Who knew? Plus brown bears and American black bears - not to mention polar bears - coyotes, lynxes and minks. Even raccoons and dogs have been spotted doing it. Crazy!
